Clearfield Borough Police are seeking the public's assistance in apprehending the individual responsible for the robbery of the Subway Restaurant in Clearfield Borough, over the
weekend. Police say that they responded to Subway for a robbery, around 1am Saturday. The perpetrator, described as a white male, six feet, two inches tall, and roughly 250 pounds, entered the store around 1am Saturday,
wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, dark blue baggy pants, and a blue bandanna covering his face, and demanded money from the clerk. The male left the store, in an unknown direction, with an undetermined amount of cash.
Anyone with information, concerning this incident, is urged to contact Clearfield Borough Police, at 765-7819. DuBois City Police have released an update concerning the Abduction and Rape of a
twenty-two-year-old woman, which occurred around 2am Sunday. The victim said that she had walked outside of Coyote Joe's on West Long Avenue and into the parking lot across the street. As she made a phone call, she was
grabbed from behind, and forced into a car, then was driven a short distance to the location at which the assault occurred. The vehicle is believed to be a white, four-door passenger car, with a light-colored, clean, and
possibly tan interior, and a chrome front grill with a circular pattern emblem in the center. The perpetrator is described as a white male, 25-30 years of age, about 5'10" tall, with brown hair, possibly a goatee, and having
a medium to husky build. He wore a dark, Polo-style shirt, possibly red or burgundy in color, with thin white and black horizontal stripes, and khaki-colored shorts or pants. Anyone with any information concerning this
crime is asked to contact DuBois City Police, at 371-2323. The St. Marys City Police Department has released additional information, pertaining to the arrest of nineteen-year-old, Kyle L. Sarginger,
of St. Marys. Sarginger was taken into custody last Wednesday, as a result of the investigation into several camp burglaries, which took place the week of August 25th. Police say that additional charges of
burglary, related to two camp break-ins on Hasselman Road, were filed against Sarginger. As a result of their investigation, Police recovered three .22 caliber rifles, and a compound bow, which had been removed from the
camps. The owner of one of the recovered .22's has not yet been accounted for. Police request that anyone who has reported the theft of such a firearm, or has yet to discover it missing, contact them, at 781-1315, with
a description of the rifle. Minor injuries were reported in a single vehicle accident in Greenwood Township late Friday night. Clearfield based state police say a Grampian man lost control of his
vehicle while traveling along state route 219 around 11:00PM Friday night. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a ditch, causing the vehicle to roll over. Following the mishap, both the driver and a passenger in the vehicle fled
the scene. Numerous traffic citations will be filed against the driver at a later date. Penn State University Fall Career Days will be held September 16th through September 18th
from 1:00 to 6:00PM at the Bryce Jordan Center on University Park campus. The event is open to students and alumni from all years and all majors. Fall Career Days bring students and alumni together with employers from the region and across the nation. Pennsylvania Game Commission Executive Director Carl Roe is offering his praise to the 23 sportsmen's clubs throughout Pennsylvania who signed up to host junior pheasant hunts. The clubs will
share in 1,500 pheasants the agency is providing for junior pheasant hunts. Locally, in Elk County, Pheasants Forever Chapter 630 will host its annual Mentored Youth Pheasant Hunt at Johnson Run near Elbon for 35 youths. The
